Coach
Tom Holaday, a veteran teacher, first took up comedy in 1992,
inspired by the laughs his stories got from audiences at high
school banquets, assemblies, pep rallies, and fund raisers. Now the
Coach tours comedy clubs in the Spring and Summer, bringing to the stage his
unique and outrageously hilarious views of life
as a father, teacher, and coach.
Everyone has a family, went to high
school, and enjoys sports (or at least is married to someone who does).
All can relate to the clean comedy of Coach Holaday. He
is a motivating speaker and comedian who does not disappoint.

What People Say
about my Comedy |

Tom Holaday spoke at our 2006-07
Middlesex Co. School Division Convocation providing 45 minutes of
hilarious teaching and family stories. He arrived early and was very
professional. Tom gave a personal touch to his presentation
describing situations our teachers could relate to. Coach Holaday’s
high energy delivery of clean material was enjoyed by all. Everyone
left the auditorium smiling and reenergized. It was great to have
one of our own on stage. If you are looking for a fun way to start
the school year, I recommend Coach Tom Holaday.
Chris Valdrighi, Principal, Middlesex
High School, Saluda VA
"Tom kept some forty plus club
members in stitches for a half hour performance and provided great
insights into the art of writing comedy. He ranks as one of the best
and most entertaining dinner speakers we've ever had. His comedic
timing is impeccable. My husband was
so motivated by Tom that he's taken up joke writing!"
Mary Ann Carr,
Vice President, Chesapeake Bay Writers
"Coach Holaday's hilarious
stories and clean comedy make this a show that's too good to
miss!!!"
Ramada Inn, South
Charleston, WV
"Tom Holaday provides a
wonderful evening of entertainment. Although much of his work
involves work in comedy clubs, he willingly edits his act to provide
a “clean” and suitable show to any crowd. Mr. Holaday recently
presented to a group which included all ages and provided a funny,
yet edited and clean version to the group. He was well received by
the crowd. Evaluations completed following the show indicated that
the group was very pleased with his presentation and that all
participants fully enjoyed the show."
